Watch: How to test your outlet.

Earthing products ground the body through the ground connection in your homes electrical outlets (the round third hole on the outlet). Its important to ensure that the outlet you're using has a proper ground connection before plugging in your product. always double-check before you start using your Earthing product, as well as every time you switch to a new or different outlet. This simple step can help you make the most of your Earthing experience.

How to check if your outlet is properly grounded

Every Earthing Kit comes with an outlet checker. It has a three prong connector on the back and three lights on the front. Plug it into the oulet you want to use with your grounding product.

Two amber lights mean the outlet is properly grounded and will work with your Earthing product. Any other combination of lights means the outlet is not properly grounded and an electrician should be contacted to fix the issue.

If no properly grounded outlets are available then an Earthing Ground Rod can be purchased HERE. The ground rod will ground your product by connecting directly to the earth outside.

Every Earthing Kit comes with a Saftey Adapter. It is a white cube with two platic prongs and one metal prong. The Saftey Adapter is designed to connect to the ground of the outlet only. It also allows two earthing cords to be used in a single outlet, allowing you to connect more earthing products while saving space.

Plug your safety adapter into the outlet you just tested with the outlet checker. Then plug the eathing cords into the saftey adapter. Your cords are ready to connect to your earthing products!

Watch a video on how to set up your Mattress Cover

Wait! Have you completed the steps in the "Getting Started" section? If so, then lets continue.

First, Take note of the location of the snap on the mattress cover, position this at the head of the mattress so the cord is not exposed once setup is complete.

With the black side facing up, secure the mattress cover by looping the straps around the corners of your matress.

Once the Mattress Cover is secure, connect your coil cord to the snap on the mattress cover. Your product is now grounded and ready for use.

Note: The mattress cover can be placed under a thin sheet (Thicker material like flannel is not recommended as this can disrupt the ground connection). Or you can place the mattress cover on top of your sheets and sleep directly on the mat.

Care instructions: Our conductive black carbon material is inherently antimicrobial and can be wiped down with a damp cloth. For an occasional deeper clean, wipe down your product using a damp cloth mixed with a small amount of mild household soap. Use a clean, damp cloth to thoroughly wipe away the soap. This prevents buildup, which blocks conductivity. Let your product air dry. Important: Never use a cleaning agent containing bleach, disinfectants, oils, or whitening agents, as they can ruin the conductivity of your Earthing® product. Never put your product in the washing machine.

Using the Earthing Product Tester with your Sedona Shoes

Our new Sedona's have a conductive strip that transmits the negative electrons from the earth to your foot.

In order to make the Sedona more comfortable we added carbon cushioning. Because of this cushioning, it can take about 15 to 20min until the moisture from your foot has connected with the grounding strip and appears green on a tester.

Please note, that the Earthing Product Tester was designed specifically to test our indoor mats, and is not calibrated to accurately test the Sedona Earthing shoes.
